“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” said Confucius. There are a lot of strange phenomena in our world such as speech intolerance, religious intolerance, sex intolerance, racial intolerance and culture intolerance. If people can live with those rights instead of intolerance, they need to cherish those opportunities more. After all, people need to understand that those rights are not natural-borne because their ancestors have struggled with government for rights. In other word, people have to think about rights that belong to them. If they find the unresonable incidents in the world, they should continue fighting for their rights.
People need to understand how precious the speech freedom and religion freedom are. When it was in the time of war, citizens would be confined to speech by government. Also, the authorities would inhibit citizens’ critical thinking from growing. Take Latter-day Saint’s religion for example, most of them would fulfill their covenant with God through being missionaries that convey Gospel’s messages. There are many missionaries all over the world except Mainland China. Therefore, people can know how confined China is in terms of religion freedom. Thirty years ago, Mr. Hu, who was a peace-loving secretary general in China, died of heart attack. Owing to his commitment to China, citizens loved him a lot and would follow his will to reform the communism. Hence, there were students demonstrating and going on strike. Finally, the Communist government sent tanks to run over those demonstrators in the Tian An Men square. Ten years ago, the Falun Dafa, which was established by Mr. Li, was getting more and more popular in China. In general, it is a good religion that helps people redefine themselves in the world and encourage citizen to involve themselves in pubic welfare. However, China government sent followers into prison by accusing them of untrue crimes because the authorities were afraid that those followers would threaten the power of China governments.
People should combat against sex intolerance and racial intolerance. If we compare Chinese society with American’s, we would find a lot of unfair phenomena in Chinese society. In terms of Chinese society, female can find jobs very easily in some work such nurses and teachers. On the other hand, male can’t find jobs easily in some work such as secretaries and tellers. Furthermore, the handicapped are hard to find jobs even though they are equipped with enough abilities. But America has more open-minded perspectives and action than Chinese society. Hence, Chinese people should stand up for their rights now as one of the democratic countries in the world now. Also, people from developing countries are not easy to find jobs and they can’t earn sufficient money for their livelihood even though they have made efforts on jobs. Nevertheless, I read about a successful story of a handicapped person who has created numerous work opportunities for others who are also handicapped. Though he can only write about one hundred words a day, he individually finished a project for the handicapped and he began to persuade companies into sponsoring his project. It was not going well because most companies thought that the handicapped can’t make money on their own and the training costs for them would be extremely expensive compared with that of ordinary people. It is just as well that the board chairman of the MiTAC incorporation was willing to sponsor this project which the handicapped can fix the broken cell phones on behalf of the MiTAC incorporation. With the success of this project, more and more handicapped people can make money independently. Besides, they can contribute to the society with their own strength.
People should tolerate the differences of various cultures, especially when people are living in the other countries. Ten years ago, virtual bookstore became more and more popular with the popularity of the Internet. Therefore, some virtual bookstore also wanted to occupy the market of Taiwan. Due to the fact that Taiwan’s culture and conveniences were totally different from America at that time, virtual bookstores didn’t work out in Taiwan. If Taiwanese wanted to buy a book, most people would choose to buy a book in real bookstores instead of virtual bookstores and they only need to spend about five minutes arriving in a bookstore faster than in the U.S. The other day, Nike’s advertisement led to Chinese’s resentment. In this advertisement, the Nike’s shoes beat a dragon, but they overlooked that the dragon has been a symbol of Chinese for thousands of years. Take myself for another example, I made a Russian friend last year, and we indeed got along with each other very well at the beginning. I would usually help people out though I am still busy with my work. Therefore, I helped him in a lot of ways such as finding a part-time job with him, translating a lot of information from Chinese to English for him, and giving him free rides for many times. I was doing it without asking anything for return. What I thought was to show the hospitality of Taiwanese. However, he gradually took everything for granted. Even worse, he would blame me for not sufficiently helping him. He seemed to misunderstand the culture of Taiwan. Besides, he would criticize Taiwanese’ using chopsticks because he is accustomed to using fork and knife. After all, Taiwanese are not responsible for showing their hospitality to foreigners if foreigners wouldn’t open their mind to tolerate the differences of various cultures.
Speech intolerance, religion intolerance, sex intolerance, racial intolerance, and culture intolerance are still alive and well in our world. If people are lucky enough to live with all the rights, they should cherish those rights more. After all, there must be martyrs fighting for rights before. In other word, people need to fight for rights if they still don’t have rights that are mentioned above. Most importantly, as long as people put themselves in the others’ shoes, they can realize what kind of action they should take. Finally, our world will be better off.

Is it worth dropping out of colleges? Is it easy to start a business? Is it true for people who have good education to find jobs? Though there were many people dropped out of college, they have become millionaires now. Does it happen always in this way? Doesn’t the society change during these years? Those questions above have perplexed everyone for a long time. Some people believe dropping out of college can help them fulfill their dreams sooner; some people believe learning at college can help them lead to a successful life in the future. In my opinion, people should at least gain their bachelor’s degrees, and people have higher possibilities to carry out their dreams.
‘The purpose of studying at college is helping define who you are,’ said Yong-Qing Wang who starts an enterprise successfully. I was also curious about the purpose of studying at college. Is it really worth spending four years getting a degree instead of dropping out of it? After I read his biography which was written by himself, I was inundated with excitement. The most impressive thing in his book is that he kept learning all the time thought he was only graduating from junior high school. However, he suggested college students should finish their learning. After all, studying at college is helping people know them and enhance creativity. With his inspiration, I gradually find my own pace in my college life, and I am more involved in different extracurricular activities such as balling room dancing club, community club, and especially going to concerts and listening to speeches. I have gained a lot of motivations and reflections through concerts and speeches. Time after time, I seem to know myself more, and I am more prepared to embrace my future.

While Shefia was studying for his Bachelor’s degree, one of his friends invited him to work on designing an Internet web which enables people to build their genealogical tree easily. At that time, they were equipped with enough professional abilities to fulfill their dreams. He couldn’t join them to design the web together because he needed to work on another project. Though he regrets what he chose at that time, he is still optimistic about his life. After all, he is a team manger and computer engineer now. According to what he told me, he believed that people who want to pursue their dreams should at least gain their bachelor’s degrees. He recalled that he can’t be a computer engineer and that his friends can’t invite him to work on the Internet web with them if he wasn’t graduating from college and was equipped with professional abilities.

To be continued- my complicated mood
I am inundated with excitement this moment. I watched a film which was adapted from a novel entitled persuasion. I am dreaming about my true love. Besides, I am missing my friends and family. When the exam is coming, I become nervous and hot temper. Even worse, I kept eating all the time. One of my ‘female’ friends teased me about getting fat. Therefore, I made up my mind to play sports as much as possible. I have seen three films adapted from novels such as ‘Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Persuasion’, and ‘Sense and Sensibility’. I am overwhelmed with the hearts of characters. I seem to involve myself into their thoughts. I love this feeling very much. With this special season, I wish everything is good with all of my friends and family.
I am so curious about some of my friends. How are they doing recently? And I hope I can find some native speakers to help me correct my essay. I will appreciate it very much. Any volunteer. Sometimes I feel hurt because of you; sometimes I am joyful because of you. Love is like chocolate because you can’t predict which flavor you would taste. 1. What is your dream, now, 3, 5 to 10 years ?
In the near three years, I hope I can study for my master’s degree and can be an exchange student in Europe or North America.
In the near five years, I not only fulfill my compulsory military but also commit myself to a fulfilling job.
In the ten years, this is what I am still not pretty sure about it. I am dreaming about becoming a teacher. However, should I really be a teacher in the future? Working in a company ? Working in a well-known bank ? Even thought there are full of uncertainty, I am sure that I must develop a professional ability for myself. In the process, I can have more ‘specific choices’ in the near future.
Excuse me, am I not so ambitious? I am still not ‘100% sure ’ about my future.
I only have a simple blueprint in my mind. How about you, Dear Kent? Do you set everything up while you had been a college student that you were 100% about your future?
2. Who is your role model or idol?
As an English minor student, I have some admiring idol in my life. Besides, they are always having influence on me more or less. Take Franklin for example, he is a ‘hero ’ in America. He was a self-disciplined person. Though he was born in a poor family, his parents couldn’t provide him a good environment. He could still take advantage of every opportunity that contributed to his legendary life. Furthermore, he was a highly self-control person. For example, he would keep track of his goodness and weakness every day. If he did something bad today, he needed to do double good things to compensate for his determination. What an amazing character, Benjamin Franklin.
3. What do you like to do for the rest of your life? And enjoy it? Which Career?
If I am willing to devote myself to a job, I indeed believe that I successfully find what I want in my life.
Since I am eager to sacrifice a great deal for a cause, I must enjoy it whole-heartedly.

Singing contest
I was struggling and hesitating at that time. I finally decided to help my friend out so that she can have a more colorful performance. Though I still have so many exams and homework that are left behind me, I decide to take part in the minor role in the contest of my friend.
With the performing experience, she begged me to do her a favor and I promised her. The first challenge for me is to count the beat in the song which is sung by Cranberry. The song, Zombie, was very famous song in 1993 and the purpose of this song was condemning the Irish Communist’s behavior of bombarding England cities such as Cheshire and Warrington. It was a cruel truth that war would kill innocent citizen and children. After all, violence and terrorist attacks couldn’t get rid of the accumulating historical conundrum.
We rehearsed time after time and tried to capture the image of the song. Finally, we came up with a good idea. Both of us would wear a creepy mask. And I would act as a killer in the war and she would be my game. Beside, I would take a fake pistol that almost looked like a true one. Chasing with the beat of the music, we got a burst of applause. In the end of the song, there were two friends taking a cloth with a slogan, ‘Make love not war’, on it from the back of stage to the front of the stage.
I was so happy to do my friend a favor because I indeed love the feeling on the stage that I can try to act as the other role that is totally different in comparison with my real person. Though I still got a lot of homework to be done, I was not regretting to do her a favor.

On Friday, I had a great dinner with my professor and most of my classmates. After that, we went to see a movie, “The golden compass.” After I went home, it was 1:00 am. Though I had a quarrel with my roommate, we soon reconciled and understood each other more.
On Saturday, I went to the library to study a little bit. Beside, I also watch a good film, ’High school musical. ’ Before I went to sleep, I chatted with Kuba. The picture with fancy food made me more hungry. With hungry feeling, I went to sleep.44

Now you see it
Have you ever missed someone in midnight? Is the person near you or far from you? Would you believe ‘out of sight, out of mind’ or ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’? If you usually miss people who are far from you instead of being near you, you are the same side as me. After I reflected how I would be with people, I find that I would miss people who are far from me more. Therefore, I believe that ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder.’
Those who influence on one would make one miss then more. I was not fond of learning English at all and was not mature enough at that time until Mrs. Ho who had been my English teacher in senior high for three years made a difference on me. She always taught English step by step and never hurried to end her English courses. By learning in this way, I gradually loved to learn English and made big progress that I was in the second place in terms of English grades. Besides, Mrs. Ho would shape our heart with her action and experience. I remembered one time when she saw a litter on the ground she unhesitatingly picked it up. Or she would teach us how to react to the love that our parents gave us. Though she is not by my side anyone, I would miss her as I put her teaching into practice.
People miss friends more once they are farther from each other. I have been a volunteer in NCHU in

Before I was still a senor high student, I always took parents’ love and care for granted. Every time I caught a cold, would take care of me carefully, especially a serious bout of fever at my seven years. My fever was very serious, and my body temperature almost turned into forty degrees Celsius. It was just as well that my mother put a wet towel on my head one after another. Besides, she sat next to me day and night with the same movement that kept my body temperature from going up. However, I need to cope with any difficulty alone in my daily life now such illness and house chores. Recently, I lost my wallet while I was playing basketball. Without paying attention to the wallet, I was losing not only money in the wallet but also many certificates and an ID card. I was in a panic at that time and shed tears over my loss. Therefore, I indeed missed that parents’ warm voice consoled my fidgeting feeling.
In sum, I am convinced that absence makes heart grow fonder according to my personal experience. People who are not by my side always make me miss them more. Also, I think I can’t understand how good the present situation is until I can’t have it or see it. There, the distance would make us miss each other more.

The whether is getting colder and colder now, and the Thanksgiving is also coming soon. I have a special feeling with it this year.

My name is Yi-ting Wu (吳怡霆). I was born in Housing-Chu County in 1987. I am currently a junior studying in the Department of Business Administration at National Chung-Hsing University. Except for my parents, I have an older brother and an older sister in my family. My father used to work as a supervisor in a glass factory, but he is retired now due to poor health. My mother is a housewife. My brother is an operator in the electronics company, and my sister is a senior high school English teacher in Housing Chu.

I am an outgoing person and I like to help people solve their problems. I guess that is why I always make genuine friends and feel very happy about my life.
Furthermore, as for mentioning community involvement, I am also a reserved volunteer of oversea volunteers program held by international cooperative and development foundation (ICDF). At the same time, I am also a volunteer of foreigner exchange students, assisting newly arrived foreign students in adjusting to life in Taiwan.
Learning English is not easy, especially for a novice. I used to be frustrated in English in junior high school. However, things changed when my senor high school teacher asked our class to read Studio Classroom magazine and Advanced magazine. I was very interested in and deeply inspired by the discussion of the teachers on air. It not only enhanced my English ability but also provided me with a variety of perspectives toward the world. With the passion for learning, I am also starting to learn German this semester.
What really inspired me a lot to become an exchange student is that I made some friends who were exchanging students in Taiwan last year. After getting along with them, I am convinced that if I can become an exchange student, then I will not only become more independent but also have the broader perspective of the world. Besides, on the summer vacation in 2007, I was competent enough to be chosen as a consultant assisting 90 foreign students from 25 different countries in understanding the Taiwanese fascinations and interpreting for them while we were sightseeing. Hence, I had much stronger desire to make up my mind to become an exchange student next year after the experience of being an consultant.
Though my parents didn’t support my idea at the beginning, I was still trying to make them understand how influential the exchange program will be in my life. After I discussed with my parents one after another, they finally respect my decision and support my plan of being an exchange student without hesitation.
In the future, I want to work in a company which enables me to interact with a lot of different people from different countries. In order to represent my company, I need to improve my communication ability in English. To fulfill my dream, I am motivated to study English continually.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all the teachers and people I met in my life. With your assistance and encouragement, I have more confidence to learn everything interestedly. Thanks for being such great companions in my life as a love-learning student.

Review : Music and lyrics (K歌情人)
I went to see ‘Music and lyrics’ this afternoon. That’s why I wrote a review for this movie.
With a good song and outdated costumes, this film started. I was so curious about the beginning of this film and looked forward to watching the progress in this film. The main actress, Sophie, who was a plant cuter turns out to be a born songwriter. The main actor ,Alex , who was not popular in the music industry at that time found Sophie good at creating profound image of words. She compared the melody to the physical sex in life. If there is only good melody in a song, it still can not touch listener. The situation is like two people who made love at the first date due to impulse, and they didn’t contact each other. What really makes a song endure the test of time. According to her opinion, it is the lyrics that make the song immortal. After Alex understood the importance of the lyrics, he volunteered to spend more time composing lyrics instead of the melody.
They encouraged each other in the process no matter how hard it was. For example, Alex was a sensitive male. He can observe little thing like when she felt hungry and took initiative to feed her. Sophie who had been very spontaneous all the time went to the amusement park with him. When he felt down to continue performing, she was very thoughtful to give him courage to perform on the stage.
However, their painstaking effort is going to be in vain because Alex didn’t insist on their dream. The Cora who was the most famous singer in the world took their song with revise. Though Alex didn’t like her to do it, he still allowed her to do it and then he would become famous again. Instead, Sophie can’t tolerate it at all and decided to break up with Alex.
Finally, Cora and Alex host a big performance. He successfully convince Cora to take their former version and wrote a song for a true love, Sophie. Therefore, he got her love back again.

And the content in the lyrics was full of their common memories.

Review : Spiderman 3
In the turbulent times, more and more criminals are doing damages to our society, and the crime rate is also increasing continuously. Every one only cares about the safety of them because the world is not so peaceful as it should be. However, with the presence of Spiderman, people find the reason of living again and strive for their lives.
It‘s obvious to know that the dark side of him is his real enemy There are totally three enemies in this film. As we can see, the hardest enemy is himself, Peter Parker. Besides, He regretted what he had done to his lover, best friend, and the photographer. First, He insulted Mary Ann by destroying her performance at the bar in the public because Mary Ann had broken up with him under the threat of Hary. Second, Peter hurt Hary’s face unconsciously because Hary was bugging him all the time for the death of this father. Third, he can’t permit the photographer to have more advantages than he. Therefore, he broke the photographer’s camera and destroyed the photographer’s promising future with the fraudulent picture taken by the photo.
Peter’s grandma found his weird reactions to his life after he knew the murderer of killing his uncle was someone else. However, his aunt encouraged him that “ I believe you will put it in a right way. Because the more powerful you are, the more responsibilities you have.
Another climax appeared when his best friend, Harry, misunderstood that Parker killed his father. That's why Harry would revenge his father on the Spiderman. After the housekeeper told Harry the truth about his father’s death. It dawned on him that he should forgive and save the Spiderman. Without hesitating, Harry took action on rescuing Mary Ann and Parker. Finally, Harry died because he wanted to save his best friend, Parke. I was so deeply moved by the scene because they are really the best friends forever. And what Harry did was like a redemption to Parker due to the fact that he misunderstood and destroyed their relationships.
Forgiving is the best antidote for your wounds. With hared all the time, it just would hurt your mind and makes you worse. That’s why Parker chose to forgive the murderer who killed his uncle. After last weekends, I have much clearer direction for study
My weekends
This typhoon was so devastating though the rain was not very intense in Taichung but the wind was really blowing hard. Every one had no choice but to stay at home. As for my lunch on Saturday, I ate only instant noodles at my home. I intended to eat out at first, but I gave it up after I saw the terrible scene outside through my window. A person wearing a raincoat was not able to walk on the street smoothly. This is the reason why I didn’t eat out. As to my dinner on Saturday, my friend and I decided to brave the storm to get our dinner because staying at home without going out for one day did drive us crazy. After we finished our dinner, we visited a Japanese person and some Turkish people. We had a lot of wonderful conversations. We spent there hours, but we didn’t know that we had been there for three hours for three hours. That meant we did have a good time.
Sunday, I started to need to go to my cram school’s class, but there was no one in the cram school. What the hell did the world change due to the annoying typhoon? It turned out that the class was cancelled because of typhoon. Since I went out, I decided to take this opportunity to study hard instead of wasting my time in my home. By walking about fifteen minutes, I eventually arrived in the Chung-Yo department. In the thirteenth floor, I sat next to window in a coffee shop. With a good scenery by observing from 13th floor and magnificent decoration in the coffee shop, I did study a lot with joy in the afternoon. Then I had widow shopping alone. Though it was only ‘myself ‘ to be my most loyal companion, I did have a lot fun. Finally, I went to a pet shop. I love puppies and kittens very much though I can’t take them home right now. I felt that I was the happiest person in the world when I gazed at those cute animals. I seemed to understand what they said as if I had been one of their companions.

I went to go jogging this Tuesday, but the climate was getting colder and colder. Furthermore, I didn’t go home to take shower directly. Instead, I went to have my diner with a friend that is very easygoing. Then I had English presentation to a lot of people. I introduced Australia’s history and the meaning of its flag. Besides, I also introduced the legend about Russian doll. After I arrived at home, I can’t do anything but lie down on the bed.
I didn’t wake up until 12 pm. Then I needed to reorganize my studying plan again. Otherwise, I would study too much sometimes and feel exhausted in the next day so that I can’t use my time efficiently. I still don’t have a detailed studying plan to be realized. Thanks for Margaret’s advice,I made a studying plan for myself every day. I believe I can achieve my dream with plan if I study this step by step.

Journal 1 : I need to study harder
As far as I know, men are destined to face more challenges than women. I didn’t want to continue studying for master’s degree until I met so many inspiring friends and talked with some sages this summer vacation. Then, I decide to get my master’s degree continually instead of finding a job. That’s why I have so much work to do this semester such as minoring in English and preparing for graduate school’s exam.
This week, I have tried my best to study harder, but I am really not satisfied with what I have done for this week. It is still not enough to be admitted into a good graduate school. That’s why I am a little mad at myself and frustrated by my poor performance.
However, I got an e-mail which was written by Shefia. Thanks a lot, anyway. With your encouragement, I will continue taking advantages of my time and preparing for those upcoming challenges. Why I say I need to take advantage of my time very well because I have whole-day-long classes from Monday to Friday and Sunday. Due to this reason, I don’t have a lot of time. I am not worried about how hard it will be this year. To be honest, I am so excited to face those challenges, but I need to be more self-discipline. Otherwise, it is impossible for me to go over those contents that professors taught, and the time I invested in would be completely fruitless.

As for the letter, I also replied an e-mail to Shefia, but I seldom saw you show up on the internet. I am convinced that everyone is struggling for dreams. I remembered you will learn Chinese since October. I hope you will like it. After all, I am a free tutor here. ^^~
This week, I also got a phone from Wesley. He is going back to Canada. Besides, his parents will also come to Taiwan from Canada. I am excited to receive his message. I can not imagine that he still remembered me. We had a very good conversation. However, I can’t attend his ‘farewell party’, but we can have a meal before he leaves Taiwan.
Wednesday, it was one of my good friends’ birthday, and we had a big surprise for him. While he was preparing for his camp’s activity, we suddenly showed up and forty people sang a happy birthday song for him. He was deeply moved by what we had down for him, and he can’t help but burst into crying. What a sentimental guy. Besides, I also made some cool friends. Their life experiences are amazing. Take a lady for example, she has worked in Australia for three years and found her true love whose nationality is German. And she will fly to German in the end of this year. What a romantic story. I hope I can also find my true love. Ha ha.. Take Nye for another example, he was an enthusiastic guy. He is so earnest about every thing even though it is just trivial matter. I hope I can also have his attitude on everything.
Anyway, another one week passed again. I hope I will better myself every day and I can be proud of saying that I am making more progress than that of yesterday.
This week, I have tried my best to study harder, but I am really not satisfied with what I have done for this week. It is still not enough to be admitted into a good graduate school. That’s why I am a little mad at myself and frustrated by my poor performance.
However, I got an e-mail which was written by Shefia. Thanks a lot, anyway. With your encouragement, I will continue taking advantages of my time and preparing for those upcoming challenges. Why I say I need to take advantage of my time very well because I have whole-day-long classes from Monday to Friday and Sunday. Due to this reason, I don’t have a lot of time. I am not worried about how hard it will be this year. To be honest, I am so excited to face those challenges, but I need to be more self-discipline. Otherwise, it is impossible for me to go over those contents that professors taught, and the time I invested in would be completely fruitless.

As for the letter, I also replied an e-mail to Shefia, but I seldom saw you show up on the internet. I am convinced that everyone is struggling for dreams. I remembered you will learn Chinese since October. I hope you will like it. After all, I am a free tutor here. ^^~
This week, I also got a phone from Wesley. He is going back to Canada. Besides, his parents will also come to Taiwan from Canada. I am excited to receive his message. I can not imagine that he still remembered me. We had a very good conversation. However, I can’t attend his ‘farewell party’, but we can have a meal before he leaves Taiwan.
Wednesday, it was one of my good friends’ birthday, and we had a big surprise for him. While he was preparing for his camp’s activity, we suddenly showed up and forty people sang a happy birthday song for him. He was deeply moved by what we had down for him, and he can’t help but burst into crying. What a sentimental guy. Besides, I also made some cool friends. Their life experiences are amazing. Take a lady for example, she has worked in Australia for three years and found her true love whose nationality is German. And she will fly to German in the end of this year. What a romantic story. I hope I can also find my true love. Ha ha.. Take Nye for another example, he was an enthusiastic guy. He is so earnest about every thing even though it is just trivial matter. I hope I can also have his attitude on everything.
Anyway, another one week passed again. I hope I will better myself every day and I can be proud of saying that I am making more progress than that of yesterday.
Response draft :without emotion
At the beginning, I can’t feel anything but the cruelty of this guy. Why did he want to kill creature without having any emotion and thoughts. He hated himself to be sentimental. This is why he killed the squirrel as his first sample. He controlled not to feel sad about killing the squirrel, but he was really sad. After his mom blamed for his cruelty, why he felt sad was not because he killed the squirrel but because he can’t kill the squirrel without emotion. To overcome his weakness, he went to chicken coop to learn know to decapitate chicken’s heads efficiently. After he practiced the skill of decapitating the chicken’s heads, he can become a real ‘cold blood ’ killer without any emotion. What he acted was as if he had been a killing machine.
However, it was about time of the second world war, that’s why governments needed to recruit more armies not only form older people but also from younger people. Every citizen should contribute to the government. Besides, people were educated with the concept of protecting their countries since youth.
After all, I was not born at that time. I can’t judge whether the man behaved well or not. I would to say that a hero is known in the time of misfortune.

My philosophy of life
When people ask me my philosophy of life, I would always say ‘seize the day’ to them. It is impossible for us to predict what it will happen. As long as you have undergone accidental trials in life, you would agree to this viewpoint.
Let’s begin with two real stories in my life.
I have been reminiscing the time I had with my grandmother. It has been an unforgettable regret in my deep mind. I should have said ‘I love you, my grandmother’ when I was ten years old.
As I was a kid, grandma took cared of me day and night. She taught me how to behave myself and to give me timely help when I was in a hardship. Besides, she was my best listener because she always patiently listened to what I complained. Every thing seemed to proceed very well. However, my grandma suddenly got amputated due to diabetes. What’s worse? The complication of diabetes made my grandma pass away all of a sudden. I was not aware of the situation very well, and then my grandma left me forever. If time permitted, I really longed for saying ‘I love you’. From then on, I have done my best to seize the day.
When I was a freshman and sophomore, I attended a lot of different extracurricular activities such as ballroom dancing club and organization of my hometown. Some of my friends wondered how I can handle schoolwork and extracurricular activities so well at the same time. To be honest, I didn’t consider so much and just do it. Because I really want to make the best of time to gain more senses of achievement, this is the reason why I worked hard to seize the day..
Right now, I am a junior. And I hope I can be an exchange student in Europe next year. Though my parents didn’t support this idea at the beginning, I was frustrated with their reaction. After I tell them my plan and purpose, they respect my decision instead of anger. With this plan of being an exchange student, I will do my best to prepare for all the documents and apply for the exchange program no matter what the outcome is.
In conclusion, time and tide wait for no man. What went is really gone, and you can’t help but regret. Let’s seize the day and never leave any regret in life. As you start to do so, I bet you will find life more intriguing than you did.

My first weekend of the new semester
Friday, I bought a new electrical dictionary so that I hoped I can learn German well.Then I gave Telecool a ride to Wu Ri....Though it was a long distance from my dorm. I still promised Telecoll to give him a ride….Then, I watched a move and attended a conference about foreign exchange students’ chores….Finally I joined a farewell party for Glowdia…It was really cool to make a lot of friends from different countries. But I am not good at sex topics…..Therefore, I was keeping silent while they were exaggeratingly talking about it.. Anyway, it was still a good party for me..
Saturday, we went to an amusement park because we worked hard on summer vacation. NCHU sponsored us to visit an amusement park. I have to say ‘it is really superb to visit there’…I was not into our Taiwanese aboriginal cultures…However, I find it so interesting with my age increasing…We played a lot of facilities without waiting any line. There are not so many people in the mornibg..I guess that this is the first week of new semester, so everyone was happy enough on their summer vacation.
No wonder there was not so many people in this amusement park. And this amusement park also featured its aboriginal facilities. There are a lot of shows about aboriginal lives. Besides, I was lucky enough to taste the rice wine. It was really cool and tasty. Hence, I decided to buy a bottle of wine. There was also a show about traditional instruments. It was pretty special to listen to a live performance. And we had been to ‘Europe ’ about ten or fifteen minutes. Why would I say that ? Just check my ablum. You will see a picturesque view of t garden.. It was pretty European ^^~~
Then, Some people are wired and I am also a member of them..I kept singing and singing until we arrived in our campus.
As for the dinner, we went to a ‘special’ restaurant..Thought everything was so so, I particularly love this pork..It was really great. And we talked about some ‘men’s stuffs’………then we went back home….m m…watching some funny variety shows and chatting with Shefia…then I went to sleep…but it was 2 am……I got up at 12 am on Sunday..It means I almost had slept for ten hours ^^~~………
My assignments…I need to work hard right now though it is just the first week…I can imagine how hard it is this year…Cheer up, Shefia..
