Outrage over prince's helicopter
The British army’s shortage in Afghanistan is getting more and more serious. Nevertheless, William got his driving license of airplane one week ago. After that, he drove the helicopter all the way to his girlfriend’s lawn.
In my opinion, it is a way of showing up instead of normal training. According to the government, it is said that William landed for only 20 seconds. Hence, it’s a good way to get used to different terrain. For this landing, it cost about one million NT dollars. What if this money can be used to replenish the equipment in Afghanistan? However, the truth is that he is a privileged few and is entitled to special rights. This incident has caused a controversial issue in the UK.
This is a very common phenomenon in every country all over the world. People who have higher social status are entitled to more privileges. I still remembered the shocking news in Taiwan two weeks ago. Ordinary citizens reported to police that they received creepy text messages for at least 20 messages. The police said, ’you are not dying yet, and there is no evidence showing that the sender will be murderer.’ Then the receiver’s mom was murdered by the sender because of multiple stabs on her body. How cruel it is. If the police is willing to crack down on the crime, the crime rate must plummet. Instead, they just fawn on anyone in an influential position. It’s time for Taiwanese government to think about this issue again
